It's simple. Just install the EZ Shopping App and simply shop online as usual. If you shop at a participating retailer, you'll automatically be raising money for your Better The World cause at no cost to you.

We only track the store and the contribution amount that you've made so that we can pass this donation to your cause. We do not track or store any information about your specific purchases or web surfing habits. We value the privacy of our members and will never collect this type of information from you.

Visit shop.bettertheworld.com you will be able to view and search the full list of participating retailers as well as the contribution amount that your purchases can make. You can jump to this page easily by clicking on the EZ Shopping App button (green Better The World logo).

Then they'll be helping out your cause! If they have their own Better The World account, they can simply sign in - once they do so their purchases will go their cause instead. As long as you're signed into Better The World your cause will receive the contributions of your shopping.

You won't be inputting your credit card information on our site. Each of the participating retailers are well-regarded and have been carefully selected based on their reputation. You will be purchasing directly from the retailer. Neither Better the World nor Nonprofit Shopping Mall, LLC have access to your credit card or other personal information. The retailers' individual security and privacy policies can be found on each of their unique sites.

Each time you make a purchase at participating retailer they will give a % of your sale as a contribution which will go towards your cause. When we receive this information form the retailers, we will update the amount raised for your cause and award points to your Better The World account - you will receive 500 points for every purchase, and for dollar spent we will give you 10 points.

For example, if Nick buys some CDs and books from Amazon.com that total to $20 and there is a 5% contribution from Amazon, then his contribution to his cause will be $5. His cause will receive $5 and Nick will earn 500 + 200 = 700 points for the purchase. He will see this information added to his Better The World account within 2-3 days of his purchase.

Points and contributions are not immediately awarded for purchases, since it takes time for the retailers to report this information to us. There may be up to a 2-3 week period before your points and contributions are awarded. If your purchase is not registered after 2-3 weeks, please contact us using the feedback tab on the site.

No. The money that goes to Better the World is being paid by Nonprofit Shopping Mall, LLC, not by you, the consumer. Since it is not a direct donation, you cannot treat it as a tax-deductible contribution.
