Our Campaign Preventing Human Wildlife Conflict in Kenya

As the human population expands, the pressure on natural habitats increases. This means that humans and animals are in competition over food and land. The impacts are often catastrophic. People lose their crops, livestock, property, and sometimes their lives. The wildlife, many of which are already threatened or endangered, are often killed in retaliation or the 'prevent' future conflicts.

If a solution to these problems is not found, local support for conservation also declines.
