When Pearson Publishing was looking to bring the Read for the Record campaign online and break the world record for most people reading a book simultaneously, they turned to Better The World. Our platform was able to meet all their needs when it came to creating an online community in support of literacy. Now Pearson is able to involve a community of their employees and customers in the give – every book read online drives a book donation to a child in need. The result was 2.5 million people reading the children’s class The Snowy Day on Oct.7th, 2010 and over 150,000 books donated to their many literacy partners.
